On Saturday, February 9th, Humans of Nigeria visited RACO Orphanage Home in Ijebu Ode L.G.A., Ogun State. RACO is one of the orphanages in Nigeria that is in dire need of help and funds just for the basic necessities (food, water and shelter).
We brought some food items and funds for the Orphanage home on our modest budget. We also spent some time with, prayed and played with the children. The children were really excited to see us, and we enjoyed our time with them. We spoke with the coordinator, Mr Femi, at length and he told more about the home and the children under its care.
The RACO Orphanage Home has been in existence since 2003. Mr Femi has been at the home since he was 12. He now works there as the Coordinator.
Two of their most urgent needs now is funds for food and educating the children, and funds for the toilet (is partially completed)
RACO Orphanage Home is really struggling and in dire need of your help.
