These ladies; Akuoma Omeoga, Seun Adigun, and Ngozi Onwumere (left to right), are representing Nigeria at the Winter Olympics in a sport called Bobsled. (If you’re like ‘what is Bobsled,’ then you’re not alone.)
They were raised in the Nigeria and US, and they need not represent Nigeria, but these beautiful young ladies decided on their own, spent their own money on training themselves, buying equipment and sponsoring their trip to South Korea to represent the country of their parents.
They are in South Korea to compete at the Winter Olympics in a sport that is a first for Nigeria. By the way, we don’t even enter athletes for the Winter Olympics because we don’t do winter sports. These young women registered Nigeria’s name and won the heart of many.
